LToday I braved a bare middrift, and immediately regretted it when it began snowing. Thank god for those trusty Primark Super Cost tights! I'm in love with this skirt from Mary Jane Fashion, the pattern, fit and length are all just right and I could see this making an appearance with a pair of sandals and a bandeau in the warmer months.

The Haul: Drugstore Makeup

It's becoming clear these days that I can't say no to an offer, so when recently pursuing the shelves of Boots and stumbling across that oh so beautiful sight of a 'three for two' sign hovering above the cosmetics, all else left my mind and I headed straight for it.

Barry M Gelly High Shine Nail Paint

I'm always a fan of a seriously good nail varnish formula. Glossy, fast drying, well pigmented and long lasting are all traits that I look for when finding that perfect little bottle of colour. After slowly building up a collection over the last few months (and loving them even more with every new purchase) Barry M's new Gelly Nail Paint might just be the polish that takes the title.

A New Look

Hello everyone and welcome to the newly redesigned I Covet Thee! I've been writing this blog for a whole two years now and thought it was about time to get rid of the tired old layout and bring it up to date. Fingers crossed you all like it as I know personally the aesthetics of a blog are very important to me when I read them myself! I've also added quite a few new links and features, so lets have a little tour.

Organised Chaos

As I type this, I should be doing something else much more important and life affecting, but unfortunately for me, my brain decides to prioritise things like seeing how many times I can refresh Twitter in a minute, and writing blog posts. WHY BRAIN, WHY.

PRIMARK HAUL (AND A LITTLE GIVEAWAY...)

YES, I have entered the world of YouTube. I still have absolutely no idea what I'm doing, and I'm going to presume this can only end badly, but I need a summer project and it was either this or learning a valuable life skill so OBVIOUSLY the unproductive option won.

My favourite products for Keratosis Pilaris.

Ever since I've been a young teenager, and whether I've been a size 6 or a size 12, one of my biggest body hang ups has been the tiny red bumps that have covered the tops of my arms for as long as I can remember...

Things fell into my basket in Boots...

If the rare day comes when I can ever be bothered to drag my freelancing ass into the office to actually be in human contact (shock horror), it's always a bit dangerous for my bank balance. Not only do I have to fork out for ludicrously expensive Tube travel, but...

Summer Spritzin'.

A few days ago I turned 22. I had a really lovely day, but it was definitely the first birthday I've had that felt like a 'grown up's birthday', as I'd had to ask for money to help with my savings, there was strictly no...

Video: What's in my bag?

It's official. I'm obsessed with YouTube. Only a few days after I put my first video online, I couldn't wait to get my next one filmed so that I could get lost in the dark depths of iMovie. I don't know if this makes me even more of an official loser than I was before, but there's something weirdly soothing about sitting and editing a video for about five hours straight. Just me? Okay.

ANYWAY the only thing I could think to film without having to go out and encounter actual humans (ergh) was a What's in my bag? video. The answer was NOT VERY MUCH, but I somehow still filled a good 11 minutes with utter nonsense. It seems to have gone down quite well either way.

Thanks a bunch to anyone who gives me a thumbs up or a cheeky subscribe, or anyone who already has. I hit nearly 500 subscribers in my first week of the 'Tube - I owe you all a bev.

Things fell into my basket in Boots...

If the rare day comes when I can ever be bothered to drag my freelancing ass into the office to actually be in human contact (shock horror), it's always a bit dangerous for my bank balance. Not only do I have to fork out for ludicrously expensive Tube travel, but the offices are situated just off Oxford Street.

Yeah, you know where I'm going here.

Usually it's Topshop which bears the brunt of my retail therapy, but this week I made the mistake of 'popping into Boots' to pick up some mouthwash after I finished my shift. Queue the hour long excited browsing, endless indecision and eventual OH FINE I'LL JUST GET IT ALL.

Yep I picked up my mouthwash, and I also happened to remember that I needed some hand soap. That's where things started to go downhill. I spotted that this Vanilla and Raspberry Original Source handwash was half price, so after I'd picked that up, I couldn't resist having a scout around for a couple of other bargains.

The first thing which miraculously made its way into my basket was the L'Oreal Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution. I ran out of Bioderma a couple of weeks ago, but unfortunately the £15 price tag and my student budget just don't work well together, so I had to forget about replacing it. Yes I KNOW they're not good for your skin, but I'm the laziest person ever and they're just so damn easy. So far, I'm LOVING this - it's great and taking make up off and I think it's actually less drying than Bioderma. For a fiver you cannot go wrong really.

I remembered that I'd ran out of moisturiser that morning, so I also bagged myself a new tube of my favourite Oilatum Natural Repair. This stuff is definitely worth a try if you suffer from dry skin like I do - I've been using it for a good couple of years now and have no complaints. It's also great if you're a bit on the sensitive side as it's got no perfume nonsense in it.

Seeing as I was getting those two, I thought I may as well take advantage of Boots' dangerous 3 for 2 offer. The only thing which really caught my eye was the Dr Jart BB cream which I've noticed so many of my favourite beauty bloggers raving about. I wanted something for much lighter coverage than my usual foundation for me to take travelling, and this definitely fits the bill. It has a really beautiful dewy finish, perfects the skin just enough to still look totally natural and is really quick and easy to slap on.

I REGRET NOTHING.
